my first was also the trion. i needed a jigsaw. crazy enough: my second festool was a midi and i was amazed by the dust collection in combination with the trion. which obviously is not even close to what the ts saws or let alone the sanders accomplish in terms of dc. now i have the trion, the ctl midi, ts55, rotex 150 and 90, the of 1400, the domino, the mft, and the cms units for the ts, the of and the trion plus a lot of sandpaper, blades and other accessories, all of it neatly stacked and stored in systainers (in really, really cheap osb shelves because i cant afford anything fancy ^^). i spend like 10000€ in festools only. and im only 21 and this is only my hobby ^^ this is gonna be an expensive life to come...but anyways: i didnt buy all these tools cheap in the first place and then learned that quality just has its price (throwing them out and then replacing them with festools) but invested in a quality company right from the start. i also own some blue bosch (more construction/demolition type) tools and im really glad that festool made me reconsider the word "expensive".
