I'm glad to hear all went well with the surgery.  I'm sure you still have a long road ahead of you and I hope that it is a easy as possible.  Stay positive and strong!!  It's amazing what a good attitude can do!

I have been away, busy with work and I have not been reading the forum. Well I just read the entire thread and is sounds like things are looking better for you. My family will keep you and your family in our prayers. Be strong and get some rest.

I want to just begin to thank all of you for your thoughts, wishes, comments, and more.  All of you have come to mean a great deal to me over the years and everything you have done will provide very pleasant ammo against the physical nastiness I anticipate that I will be experiencing starting next week and over the next few months.

I have not even started to respond to all the PM's I have also received whereas I am trying to get by and finalize some things while recovering from surgery and getting ready for another week away from home.  But next week will bring me the time.

I do want to share one little story that I think is a perfect illustration of what I have come to know as the FOG spirit.  I received a PM from a member who has gone thru what I am going thru today.  As a twenty year survivor he offered his ear and a telephone number.  For over two hours on the phone he offered his experiences, his advice, listened to my concerns, and alleviated many of my fears.  He isn't a member who posts much, nor a member that a I know better than most.  He is just a Fogger who has come to know this group as a bunch of people willing to help each other out with information and advice.

Thank all of you so much from the bottom of my green heart.

Haven't been on much either and  Just seen this thread.

Peter my thoughts and prayers are with you and your doctors as you fight back toward better and cancer free health!

That's a great story, Peter!  Stay positive, because you have a lot of friends pulling for you!

Life is a journey and your journeys not over. Stay positive through the treatments and eat healthy! Lean on the FOG when you need strength.
Will be praying for your recovery.
 
Last Check on the web site it has gone over the top. Awesome guys it is to help out a great guy  [thumbs up]

Just a quick update.  Came back to NIH yesterday for some more imaging to set starting benchmarks and then had first chemo today.

Seemed to go well, but one day does not make a pattern.
