For all you Woodpecker fans, what is your favorite and most often used item?

Looking to add a few items with a birthday giftcard I received.  [big grin]

    T-Squares in all lengths.

    26" Square.

    Woodworking Rules.

    48" SERX

Rules and T-squares would be the most used.

In order of daily use:
      DelVe Square
      26" Square
      1281
      TS 24" Tee Square

Find new uses for each every day.

Woodpecker saw gauge:

This has a slightly difficult learning curve but it provided a workable solution to a long standing problem of squaring up my Powermatic 5HP saw, old fashion as it is. I readily use it when changing blades.

Also, I have come to find many useful application for the Woodpecker Story Stick Pro. I used it recently to locate notches on a series of shelves. My Dad taught me not to rely on a measuring tape, just take a stick hold it up to where you wanted to fit something, carry the stick to stock, mark and cut. The story stick, I find useful in the same tradition of skipping a measured distance to locating and transferring an accurate measure.

In general, I have come to respect Woodpecker's dedication to inventive solutions

Most used:
49.5"/1257mm woodworking rule
1281
26" x 16" square
24" T-square
Model 6SS square
Setup blocks

Favorite to use:
Bevel gauge...silky smooth with a bullet proof locking mechanism
Model 6SS square
Corner jig

26" precision framing square.  Comes out every time I'm cutting sheet goods.

I had asked Woodpecker what is the distance from the first notch to the tip of the indicator or the shortest distance that it can be used and they replied 4 1/4".  Is it really that much?

I actually use the oddjob small quite often. mostly just using it as a rule stop but it does a great job at it

TS-6 I started off strong with this but I cant get lead to stop breaking on me

delve square
851
18x12

Of all the Woodpeckers stuff I have I pretty much only use:

26" square
1281 square
DelVe Square

A lot of the other tools come in handy when I need them but certainly dont see regular use.

Hmm, product pictures are deceiving but your picture isn't! [eek]

In more or less priority order, these are the ones I use all the time:

#1 - Incra Precision 3” x 2” Pocket Rule
#2 - LS Super System (wonder fence & adjuster)
#3 - 6" & 12" squares
#4 - Precision Triangle Combo

I'm waiting for the precision framing square to come around again.

I use one of the 3 (12, 8 & 6") squares on every project.  After that it is probably the 24" T-square, but the 96" story stick gets a lot of use in my shop too.

Can't have too many (accurate) squares.  I have almost all that Woodpecker sells.  My problem is available wall space to hang them all!  I think my next project will be to build a hanging cabinet that can hold them, like pages in a book.

My next Woodpecker purchase, other than the one time tool purchases I have already ordered, will be the 96" story stick.
