0 lbs/kg.... It's the gene's/metabolism. No matter what I eat I do not gain weight.... Sorry....

I lost about 20 lbs in 2014, and will probably lose more this year, not by choice. I think as I am getting a little older, I just don't like food as much as in the past, so that has helped. Also I stopped drinking soda after my birthday last year. If I lose any significant amount I would have to buy a new wardrobe, and personally I would rather spend that money on wood or tools.

My goal is to lose 20-25 lbs this year, that will put me at my ideal weight. I've never dieted, and having bad knees was an excuse for not exercising. Both knees have been replaced now, no excuses going forward. I think as Andy pointed out above, eating sensible, at the right times of the day, and some exercise should put me on course...... I hope.....

I'm aiming to chop off 50! Last year was a little stressful for me and I gained over 40 lbs... definitely no healthy and my body feels it
I figure I can accomplish most of that by getting very strict with my diet. Sugar has got to go!!

I weigh about the same as when i was just out of high school.
My only problem is that every winter, my wife keeps shrinking my pants so I can't close the top button without my eyes popping. Come spring, i get around to stretching the again until end of summer, i begin to look like a plumber (as in plumbers cleavage [big grin]) i can't get them to hang onto my hips.
And, i still eat all the things I like. :

I have always been able to lose to the weight, my trouble is I put it back on within a year. I will be doing things diff this time by going through a program...I started it Thursday. I set a 175 goal, currently at 207. I think I was 178 when I got out of boot camp in 1988 lol, so 175 is something I haven't weighted in 30 years.
Been having feet issues too and the doc said I losing weight would help so that's my motivation. Having been able to walk very well the last 14 months.

I'm going the opposite direction this year I hope [big grin]. My body is happy at about 10 pounds more than I am now. somehow thru the chemo treatments I managed to put on 18 pounds which really made the doctors scratch their heads. But my challenge will be to make it muscle - not flab.

When I was doing masonry, my weight was up to 150 to 155. I was actually smaller around the waist then than i am now at 132 to 135. I still wear the same shirts I did then. It is all a different type of girth to all of the parts. In HS I weighed about 130. I was in pretty good shape for running track >>> a sprinter. I had to be a sprinter as i was somewhat of a wise mouth and had to run fast. Now I am 39, the weight has all shifted around, but i weigh the same.
Weight is just a situation of relativity. Or something like that :-\

I retired last year, and did a fair amount of yard work / redesign that helped shed the pounds. My wife retired after Christmas, and got the flu, so we kind of lounged around the house for several weeks. Plus it was way too cold to want to leave. I guess I now understand why so many of those people I thought were old (and I'm there now) head south, at least for the Winter. Anyway, I just have been afraid to get back on the scale, since the jeans seem a little more snug than they did last Summer.
We got out and walked to the movie theater today, probably just a little over a mile. No popcorn and sodas this time.
By the way, we saw American Sniper. What an incredible movie. Certainly one of the best movies I've seen in years.

Just saw American Sniper as well. Amazing movie. Edge of your seat at many points. I had forgotten a lot of the true story.
As to weight loss - Bradley Cooper put on a few pounds for his role. He was doing some serious weightlifting while on active duty, but also put a few pounds of girth on as well.
