I came across this and nearly choked from laughing.
My own daughter is constantly trying to bring her mom and dad into the 23rd century with all sorts of very up to date modern electronic gadgets.  My dear wife is German so she will understand the words. Our daughter will get a bigger laugh as she will see a lot of her father in the vid.

Hi Tinker

Can you help me out with a translation - my German is not brilliant.

Peter

Peter, my brilliance is not in German.  If you need help in the translation, perhaps I could persuade my BRILLIANT German sweetheart to help you out.

Daughter - Dad, I haven't asked you yet, but how are you getting along with the iPad we gave you for your birthday?
Dad - Good.
Daughter - Do you understand the apps?
Dad - [inaudible] Now step aside please.
Dad - [After he put the iPad in the dishwasher] What's the matter?

Thanks Alex.
I was expecting something more to be said from the daughter.  Something unprintable [doh]

Thanks Alex - I have now spotted that he had an iPad.

My wife had a good laugh as she was given one for her birthday just before Christmas.
