Only two 2.4 metre pipe clamps, and already glued up when I realise a third clamp would be a good idea! If only I had one, and no bow clamp either, so -

two pieces of Masonite packer, and a thin strip of Mountain Ash. It Worked a treat.

I am sure, I am not the first to find this quick solution.

Done it often.  Usually because there is no way to engage a clamp and it's not structural.  Like gluing a faceframe with mid stiles and mid rails to a case that already has a back.  I really should invest in some cauls.
