For those of you who have the TopRock and use it regularly in your workshop, where do you place it?

I've had mine just sitting on a countertop in the garage taking up workspace. If I put it in a rack then the sound will be poor. Just wondering how you guys use yours.

That's the exact reason I got the Makita player. I just couldn't figure out where or how I would be able to use the Top Rock? The Makita is also linkable for true stereo sound, though I have not gone to that expense yet, maybe when I retire and can play it in my own garage. As it is now, I can't go disturbing others with loud music. My Makita is up high, near the end of my back bench, right about ear level and doesn't take a lot of volume to be heard.
It will be interesting to see if anyone has resolved this.

Don't know how it is in the Netherlands, but here in the USA we have the SYSROCK 200184 (which sounds similar to what you are describing) and the TOPROCK 205506 which is mounted in the top of a SYS3 M187.

Oh oops, yes. The one with FM, not in a Systainer is called Sysrock  [huh]

I like the idea of the Systainer. It would be great as an installer, for jobsite use. That has not been in my range for several years.

A little late to the party but I have them on top of my Festool Sys Port 1000’s when I’m not on site. On job sites I put them on top of Systainer stacks on opposite sides of the job for stereo sound and to keep the volume down so as not to be a safety concern. I keep first aid supplies in one and ope in the other so there is no excuse that I cannot find or access those items.

Of course- I inevitably have a pairing issue 1-2x a month and have to relink them but overall I like them.
