Any bets on who will have the first review of the Pro 5 sander ?

How about a pool on how long it takes for one to show up in the classified section ?  [unsure]

Here it is side by side with previous version. Surprised that the top is larger. Haven't used it yet but quick grip it doesn't feel as comfortable.

If anyone is in Seattle area the store I was at this evening (6pm) had a nice stack available. Festool will catch up with demand from online orders. Shady resellers hopefully get stuck holding a bunch.

You talk about an epic post...that was an epic post. I knew it wouldn't last for more than 2-3 minutes. If some of the mean-spiritedness could have been trimmed out, it may have endured and become the true unpolished jewel that it was. I don't think it was appropriate to attack the person that you did, but as an unbridled, spur of the moment, I have an opinion to offer......I thought it was brilliant. It was a purely raw emotional response to the going-ons of the time. Like many journalistic reviews, it was a product of its time.

And that smell.....

Lets get something straight ..... it wasn't a review. The "mods" taking it down had nothing to do with the release date.

I think it may be a while before one shows up in the Classifieds considering that it seems dealers did not get very many yet. And if one does show up on the classified board there could be genuine reasons for the resale.

Probably time to let this whole sander debacle play itself out.

After seeing that one sell I listed one. At that price I can wait for if/when they ship or buy previous edition.
