There is simply no way that someone didn't realize that this was happening, but they let it go.
I guess that's what I get for buying cheap stuff from Amazon. The product inside is just fine and that's all that really matters, but the case itself is quite annoying. The latch on the front hangs below the bottom of the case. When you set it in a table, the latch hits first and holds the case up. Push down on it and it opens the latch...... stupid. Apparently, it's not enough to make people return it, so no point in wasting money fixing it?
How does this stuff happen?

Sorry about the pic fail. I must have just forgotten to attach them.

Was there meant to be a pic CRG?

After reading the first post, I went to look if I was on the first post of the second page.

It is though a couple of sentences (or a photo) is missing to set the stage.  I have no context and I can’t comment on the subject of this thread.

Mount four rubber feet to the bottom of the case.  It would probably resolve the latch issue.

Maybe the case was designed to slip into a rack and pull out like a drawer.  It would presume that 3 or more cases would be in use.

Latch aside, they're a really nice set, I bought a couple after buying the steel Milescraft version which I hated and sold almost immediately.

There was indeed supposed to be a couple of pics attached. I just didn't? don't know why, distracted, I guess.

Michael got the right set, just not the pic showing the latch.
The bushings themselves are nice. I used one of them and the adaptor plate on the Makita today.
I ended up setting both of them to work with the templates that I made for the hinge pockets of a door project I started yesterday.
I'll have pics of that in the projects section.....if I'm not a dummy again  [unsure]

I have similar sets that appear to have identical plastic cases and latches.  A few seconds with a utility knife to remove the end of the latch, while it was still attached to the case, was all that was required to fix the problem.
