That looks like an interesting project. I think I'd tackle it if I had plans to start with...

Nice shop those kids get to learn it!

Sadly only a few Festools touched in the "making of ..." [sad] but they have some nice kit in there,

That's really really cool

Would 100% have a go at making one of those

Absolutely brilliant - thanks for starting this thread Makkus.

My German is nowhere near good enough to send them a message - perhaps you could tell them that they have made very impressive "woodtainers" and pass my congratulations to them.

I too want to make one.

Cool .. We will all be waiting for the video peter

The would version should be stronger and more durable. Considering the skill building potential of a project like that , if you think of your time as education this is project would yeild an inexpensive way of organizing your tools.

I saw that about a week ago on Festool's Facebook page.  Forgot to Post.

Now when discussions come up about the differences in training in different countries, the young adults who built these were CARPENTRY apprentices, not cabinet making apprentices.  Big difference between here and there.  Please don't go off path on this post - that is just what came to mind.

Peter as a moderator can I ask if Shane is the best person to see if permission can be given to share this on the FOG from Festool Germany? Don't want to add to his work load if there is a more appropriate person to ask.

cheers

Andrew

I still want one in carbon fibre with an aluminium T-Loc [cool]

Festool Germany now have a link to the plan (https://www.festool.de/myFestool/Pages/Bauplan-Woodbox.aspx).. unfortunately you have to be a member of MyFestool to get access and as I do not live in Germany can not legitimately sign up.

I have a myFestool account, unfortunately you can't log in to the German website with a UK login! [mad] The plans don't appear to be on the UK site either... [sad]
