Has anyone tried to order any of the Woodpeckers one time tools from Professional Woodworkers Supply in Australia? They list quite a few of the items currently unavailable in the states and claim that they are in stock. The prices are outrageous...but if that's the only way I'm going to get an 18 inch (or apparently a 450mm) carpenters square or a T-150....well I guess that's what I'm going to have to pay. I love my Woodpeckers tools but I'm growing VERY tired of waiting, and looking, and hoping against hope... and then on top of all that I get to start paying through the nose. Anywho...I was just wondering if anyone has successfully ordered from the AU site, and got what they ordered in a timely fashion. Have a great day all!

I might suggest that you visit www.woodpecks.com. You can probably find a phone number on that site and give them a call.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Australian tool prices! That aside, Woodwork Supplies are good, reliable people to deal with. There's a slightly different retail culture here, don't be put off if you don't get a blisteringly fast reply to an inquiry. Small companies here generally can not afford staff to answer emails full time due to wage costs.
