Respectfully I have to disagree, most likely they run each component in batches so they can't ship any finished products until all the components are completed. Often setup is a major cost factor, I don't think they run the first ### thru to completion then move on to the next ###. They make all the brackets in one batch, then all the widgets, and so on, then package everything up at the end.

I agree that this makes sense. However, some of the squares have already been received by some people and the email I got stated that the squares should finish shipping by the end of July. So if they did manufacture all the orders together in steps then why a 2 month window for delivery.
I wanted to order the parallel guide but decided not to for a couple of reasons. I hope they turn out to be great and then maybe I'll get it the second time around.
A few considerations:
Many/most manufacturing facilities would prefer to minimize set ups, as it is costly and negatively affects delivery when you have to set up the same machine(s) multiple times.
However, there are always other influencing factors, capacity, availability of raw material (often a key factor), cost/cash flow, or even other order commitments that may require some of the same machinery, any of which could interrupt the manufacturing and delivery schedule.
We can second guess all we want, however, I'm pretty certain Woodpecker would like to minimize the delivery time because the longer that timeframe is, the longer their money is tied up with all of the associated costs. All or most manufacturers are always looking at ways to reduce the delivery time and manufacturing cost, strive to minimize the time it takes for inventory to roll over (typically 4 or 5 months roll over at most) and maintain a constant manufacturing schedule.
Last point, we get caught up with the timeframe for delivery of the OTTs, bear in mind Woodpecker do maintain an inventory of items that do sell more frequently (some of the standard squares, stops, rulers, etc....). Somewhere in that mix, they have to ensure those items that are constantly manufactured continue that process and to meet their many vendors requests for that commonly stocked items.
Just my view, no association, yada yada yada.
