30 days trying

Hi guys,
I am new in FOG but I start with Festool about 2 years ago and happy with it, I know Festool has this policy of returning tools back after 30 days if you don't like it, my question is what Festool doing with those tools? are they selling them again or what happen to them? must be lots of tools people returning

I see you you are not posting from North America so you might not be able to get a specific answer from Festool based on your country.  Here in North America the tools returned to Festool under the return policy here - which may vary based on country - are not resold as new.  Here in the US Festool is currently running a sale where those are included in the mix of other tools as being reconditioned and sold at a reduced cost.  Festool generally doesn't speak about their internal operations or marketing so how else they use them isn't readily public unless they post about it.

Hopefully you get a better answer tailored to your country.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a Re Con sale in Australia and Festool Australia have never made public what happens to the 30 day returned tools. It is left to ones imagination as to what happens to these tools.

Thanks DB10, that's way I asked this when I bought my Domino DF500 didn't look or feel to me brand new may be I was wrong that was my first festool and over 2 years ago then I got ts55, DF700, Kapex, OF1400 all look and feel new but with that one not sure that's why I raised the question
