Hey Rick,
+1 on getting your sawblades resharpened.  It makes a huge difference.  Also, a dull blade may just need a good cleaning (a gentle cleaner and a brass brush make short work of it).

BTW, I don't know whether the DW blades have the same thickness as the Festool blade - if the DW is thicker, you may want to replace the strips on your guide rail.

Here's hoping that the coming Christmas holds more Festool in store!

Hi Rick!

I hear you about John Lucas.  I purchased one of those CMT Enlock Jigs from Woodcarft.  They had an unbelievable sale on them and the accessories a few weeks ago.

In the course of my research I found that John's group (Woodshop Demos) had tested them and did a real nice writeup on them.  It is good that he is so well thought of and has left such a positive legacy for all of us to share.
