Acceptable Kapex turntable flex?

What's considered normal? Mine now flexes (with a straightedge across the turntable and against the fence) much more than I recall. The straight edge looks pretty good across the saw, left side shows a slight gap next to the turn table when sitting static. You can then grasp the head and push left or right and make the straight edge lift off the fixed bed by a good 1.5mm on both sides. Seem normal?

That's probably about right if you are just flexing it back and forth.  You can tighten the nut up and take some out, although it can get a little stiffer to turn.  I don't think you'll notice as much flex when you lock the handle down in place.  I don't seem to notice any of the movement when it's locked in place and I'm using it.  The bearing that the turntable is mounted on is fully supported so I don't really understand where the movement is coming from.  I don't really see if affecting the cut but I'm guessing there should be a way to fix it.    [unsure]

Thanks for the pictures! I did tighten the pivot nut, but it didn't seem overly helpful. Excellent reminder on locking down the head, although I tend not to when in the miter detents.
