anyone in the UK bought a GRS16 rail square ?

Have any UK members bought one of the TSO rail squares and had it shipped over . Just wondering how much it was in total including import taxes etc.

Cheers Mark , I know the cheaper square is $150 plus $15 shipping. I was just curious as to the import duties etc so I know what the total cost would be

If it is sent USPS (ie US equivalent of Royal Mail), the normal UK charge is £8 + 20% VAT on product plus shipping charge.  I don't think the cost is high enough to attract duty in addition (I got my one some little time ago and forget the exact charges).

we would really appreciate feedback on the actual import and shipping experience from international customers to our off-line email address so we don't clutter up the FOG with details of transactions.
We started out with USPS International but heard some questions about the uncertainty about the time it took from arriving in the international country until it was delivered. We switched to FedEx Int'l Economy and have heard feedback about delivery to a number of foreign countries in a week or even less - amazing.
On the other hand, customers living in locations considered "remote" by FedEx, there may be an additional charge.
