So when can we expect an iPhone/android app for the FOG?  Would be way cool to be able an app dedicated to those platforms to see the forum from either phone.

It works well. I'm using it now on my iPhone.  It does better than using a browser on the phones, since there's no need for all the graphics on the pages, it speeds things up a bit. One thing I just noticed though, it doesn't automatically quit your login status like a browser will. I imagine since apps don't truly close it keeps login session open.

Tapatalk is definitely faster for me vs. Safari.  Much easier to get the font sized for easy reading as well.

I've been using Tapatalk for a bit and recently notice the FOG was available on there!  IIRC the app is only $.99 and offers quite a few different forums in general  It is certainly faster than safari out in 3G land.  I much prefer the browser version of FOG on my iPad though.

For those interested, the app is $2.99 for iPhone. I think it's still free for other platforms. It used to be free for iPhone. Guess they have to recoup development costs sooner or later... It does work with many forums if you participate on others.

It's 2.99 for the android app.  And if any one knows of a free version let me know I would like to try it out.

Now it askes me evey time I use the forums the following:

The page at 'http://festoolownersgroup.com' says:
This forum is Android Native! Click OK to learn more about Tapatalk for Andriod.
Ok  Cancel

Is there a way to turn the message off I would not mind if the message poped up once but it askes every time I go on.

I installed Forum Runner on my new iphone, I'm able to get to TalkFestool, but can't find FOG anywhere!  Help please?

Thanks

Jay

Jay,

Forum Runner does not support our forum software, SMF. I checked last a few weeks ago and their site said they are "working on" support for SMF. Our forum is set up to work with Tapatalk currently though.

Fog works great on Tapatalk! It's worth the price for the app. It is much faster because you're not downloading all the web navigation on each page.
