Sounds like you have a few coils that are shorted in your armature. This can happen when it is wound and the insulation on the winding coils is not complete. Does it fluctuate in speed under no load? Is the motor housing getting warmer to the touch? If you have someone with a PAT tester, ask them to check the tool for you.huskercrue said:Yes, the house breaker.
