Anything wrong with using standard leaf hinges? Inexpensive, efficient to instal, strong and long-lasting. I would then use a standard bolt system at the top of each end of the hinges sections to provide positive closing.
Looks great! My first grandchild is on the way but my daughter said she doesn't want me to make the crib. She likes the two bedroom sets and the kitchen table and chairs I made for her but she is very protective of her first child. I don't have much time at the moment anyway.
