Good Afternoon Everyone,
I read quite a bit of comments and problems, and suggestions from FOG folks, and I'm posting this message to see if the HL 850 is the right tool for me to use for my project.
I have decided to build my own windows and door moldings. The moldings consist of a sandwich of (hard) maple in the middle and Dupont Corian on the two size. The resulting molding size is 1/2-inch thich, and 3 inches wide. The corian is 1-inch in the middle and the 2-outside maple is 1-inch as well.
After glueing the 3 pieced together, I am planning to created flute-like stripes on the resulting 3-in molding.
I was planning on buying a HL 850 with a Rustic course head.
Does anyone have any experience using the HL 850 on a similar project?
Does anyone have any experience using the HL 850 on sever different surface?
Please share any feedback
