I am looking to streamline the process with Rubio and Odie's oil. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for this. Sheepskin the way to go? Are the Festool brand pads worth it? I found some on amazon 5 for $85. If not, what alternatives are there?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks. I can't seem to find those in the 90mm size anywhere

According to the 2021 catalogue (German, page 152) the PoliStick polishing pads for 80 mm are compatible with the RO 90 DX. The white one (fine, circumference 80 mm, thickness 20 mm - 5 pieces) has OrderNr 202017.

I've tried Festool Vlies, Klingspor, a canadian company, and other styles, and have settled on 3m white pads for buffing. Get a 20 pack and cut them to 90mm squares.

I've used predominantly RMC and Odies for interior finishes, flooring, cabinets, tops. Buy a replacement pad of your choice and dedicate the old one for use with finishes. Keep sanding separate and visa versa. Abrasives will stick better without a bunch of Odies gunked up in the fast-fix.

You can order a 5 pack box of 16" 3M floor buffing disk for +/- $30 (Amazon). I cut several 150mm from these.. The disk are maybe 3/4" thick. If it feels a bit wobbly at 90mm diameter, the white pads from Odies Oil are thinner (but also seem very expensive). I think I've picked up individual 16" buffing disk from Home Depot also. Check the rental store if you're short on time.
