Best tool for floor leveling - material removal

I use a Pearl Abrasives dust collection on a 7" Makita grinder.  Use a 36 grit Diablo disc from Home Depot.  It will have a moderate removal rate and the guard will help keep things level. Its also great for concrete with a Dewalt diamond grinding blade.
