Well I took the plunge and bought an Apollo Precision-5 Sprayer.
I've been using airless sprayers for years, but I've decided to renovate my house which will include painting the kitchen cabinets in the main kitchen as well as in the basement suite, and paint the new doors and trim. I've read a good number of informative threads on the FOG that have given me some good direction on how to approach my projects.
I think my paint of choice will be BM Advance, unless there are recommendations otherwise.
The question(s) I have relate to shortening the learning curve using the Apollo sprayer, and using a new to me paint:
1. What have you all experienced to be the best needle/tip size to spray BM Advance?
2. When I use an airless sprayer I could spray unthinned latex on doors etc while vertical, are there issues spraying doors etc standing vertical using BM Advance?
3. I understand BM advance has a fairly long cure time, how long should I wait before between coats, and do I need to lighty sand between coats?
I appreciate any and all answers.
