Bridle Joint made with the Domino

Hi Todd,

I've been making Dados for box bases and rebates for backs of cabinets for years using the Domino, but its a lot simpler than the way you describe. Fast and accurate too. ;D
I wish I had never posted this thread now, I don't think people have taken it in the right way. I won't post anything like this again and will just keep myself to myself.

Regards,

Rob

Rob Please don't stop posting.  Often times others don't get new ideas or processes very easly......and often rather frustrating to the author (me  ;) on several ideas i have posted that have failed to be appreciated)  The fact is that if even no one else gets it, your idea becomes that much sharper just from the process of trying to document it.  So KEEP the faith  :)

Rob,

Don't you dare stop posting these or any other ideas and thoughts you have regarding woodworking.  Just because I or others may not see the way you are doing things as the "best" does not mean that it doesn't have value to others.  Part of the beauty of woodworking is that there are "so many ways to skin the cat".  By that I mean that there are many ways to achieve the end goal using anything from hand tools only to full out CNC machines.  Depends on what you have and how you see the process being done.  I have been at this a long time and tend to be a little more traditional in approach while others on this forum may only be starting out and have a whole different view of how to get the job done based on their experience and available tools.  So,don't let me or anyone else keep you from exploring and growing.  That would be a true shame.  We just want to be safe about it...too

Also, this medium can at times enable people to come across more harshly than intended, so take the words with a that in mind if you can...

Best,
Todd
