It seems like it takes extra time to use templates. Maybe it does. My experience is that in the long run time and money are saved using templates. Every so often I need that same template or close enough to it that I save time. The real rub for me is that I wind up with much nicer projects using templates. A higher quality product is my biggest concern. My better products allow for greater income, but most importantly higher satisfaction. My $.02
