C18

Just wondering. I love all festool cordless drills but the C models fits me better. Why does festool make C and T models of the 12 and 15 models but not the 18? I've got the C15 but could use the extra power of the 18, but the bitholder and how it feels in the hand is better on the C15. A C18 Would be perfect!  [blink]

Sorry, but I do not have an answer for why Germany has elected not to produce an 18v version of the C-drill. As far as I know, there are currently no plans to introduce one.

I suspect it has something to do with our power requirements here and how the brake works. The "B" is for brake for those who don't know.

The rebq is 240v and the req is 110v , simple as that .  [smile]

I just purchased the T-18 and it's way lighter than my old DeWalt 14.4 drill and it fits my hand nicely and is a pleasure to use.  Try it you might just come to like it [wink]

So it's impossible to have brake on a 110v saw?

Don't know why it doesn't have a brake but I have a 110v ts55r and I don't see the need for a brake as the blade retracts back out of the way instantly. Just my opinion.
