Hi All
Bought the CMS specifically as router table for my 1400 and after quite a few projects undertaken I've got to say I love it.
Before I bought it though I was hesitant as quite a few posts on here intimated that the fence was difficult to set up accurately.
As you all know these types of tools have a steep learning curve but I've found that the fence and alignment itself have been trouble free and I thought I'd share what I do.
Basically I set up the fence to suit the markings on the table making sure they correspond but I've found that the easiest way to double check is to take the sliding table, attach the angle stop and push the profile over till it touches the bit or bearing etc. then simply slide the table back and forward adjusting the fence set up as you go if at all required.
It's even more accurate if you turn the profile flat but it's a quick check if done as shown in the pic.
Hope it helps.
