Ironic that you say this - I use a cordless Dyson up close if I'm drilling and need to collect the debris. Not perfect though. Plust the Dyson is only good for about 20 min of bursts.
I suppose the good thing is that you get to run the vacuum nozzle over the hole. Drilling walls and overhead is a two person job (and that doesn't happen because the other person would need to be my wife!)
