Cross cut sled for dadoing on router table

Hi.
I have a router lift in one of my MFTs. I mostly use it with my Incra fence, but sometimes I wish that I could use it with a cross cut sled.

I'm thinking of adding another miter track to the MFT so I can slide a cross cut sled over the router bit. I think this would be great for cutting dadoes in longer pieces. One example is when I want to join strips of wood half-in-half as I'm about to do in a large box project of mine. I'm thinking of putting an Incra track as a fence on the sled to get good repeatable accuracy

Cons that I can think of:
- The new miter track would have to be supported from under the table, or I think the table might flex due to the material I'd rout from the MFT.
- The new track would have to be positioned far to the right so it won't make the Incra fence slide badly due to the groove in the sliding direction.
- Really important to put the new miter track exactly parallell to the other track. Shouldn't be a problem, but some extra job with the precision

What do you think of this idea? Have I missed something? Would it be dangerous in any way (i.e. more dangerous than a router table is in general)

Bump..
Did I miss an obvious flaw in this?
Does the silence indicate that this is a relly stupid idea?

I really think I could use this for precision work. But I'd really like to hear from the knowledged forum members if this seems like a bad/unsafe idea.

i dontthink it is a bad idea.
i would probably make a new top  that was thicker. then put in one of those miter gauge extrusions with the t track in it aswell.

you dont have to run the slot parralel to the fence if you dont want to. most of your cuts will be on a sled so the fnce wont be used
