Try this: When cutting with the Kapex plugged in to the CT and the CT set to Automatic, it pays to pull the Kapex arm all the way out and let the blade run for one or two seconds to give the CT the opportunity to develop suction at the Kapex. Then cut normally and give the blade the chance to stop spinning while still in the down position. This not only provides for better cut edges but also lets the CT remove all the dust it wants to and keeps the spinning blade from spreading dust around.'
With this procedure, a 36mm hose and zero clearance insert and fence, I get over 90% dust collection with the CT 22. Letting the CT ramp up might take that extra few seconds, but I prefer the result over having to clean up dust.
