Hey I'm rehabbing my folks house and am in need of a shop vac that can handle water. Anyone use their Festool CT22 or other as a wet vac? Seems like too groaty of a job for Festool but I'm w/o tools here and need to get something. I shudder to go to Home Despot and get crap just to get it done.

HI Mark you can use my Ridgid if you like

Just send me your CT 22 ;D

You need to remove the filter bag before vacuming up liqiuds. Festool actually recommends you buy a wet bag
