Custom Systainer Labels

Since becoming a massive Systainer Fan and completely converting my tool collection into Systainers I've been frustrated by my labelling system.
First i tried the Dymo labels... nah
Then i used the Festool style ones we can print out but hey were to limiting on what i wanted to do, yes they suited the Festool Tools but what about all my other stuff.... makita, Bosch, Knipex, Fein...etc

Well I got sick of them and started playing around trying to come up with a better design, I discovered that i could open the festool .pdf's in Adobe Illustrator.  And in doing this also discoverd that i could modify them to how i wanted them.
Now my extremely limited knowledge of Illustrator stopped me from creating a template like Festools,  but i was able to create a Template that I could keep changing a saving.

Anyways I got what i wanted and I'm happy to share here.   Feel free to use the ones i have created so far for your own use, I'll upload more as i create them.
if i have this uploaded correctly they should be a .pdf  and in the correct size if printed.

The first image is the style i have gone with. The Festool and Blue Line remain constant all the changes are above this.

Thanks...though you might want to check the spelling on your Rotex labels.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake... i have since corrected it and now they reflect the correct spelling.

If anyone would like me to make one for them to suit a specific tool please let me know. Happy to help out.

Note to Mods:  this was the second time i had to upload the pdf's as my first thread kept coming up as a blank page, if the Mods are able to delate that thread they " My Custom Systainer Labels" they can as it's effectively the same as this one.

Mike

Your Festool Labels are great.  Thanks for your generosity in posting.  I have saved your files for when I need to polish up my setup when I have time.  Much appreciated!

Your  Welcome Kevin... if there is anythiing you would like made up let me know and I'll do it.

I've also re-done the Fein labels and also added a corded version.

In regards to personal details or Business details i choose to keep that off these labels, as on the left side of my systainers i insert one of my business cards, the right and sides are for the labels.

Nice work buddy. Did you print them on card int the end? I put mine into glossy business card holders.

These are really neat.  Would be very cool if we could get a library of images for every tool available.

BTW, are you printing this on to "peel and stick" paper, or just regular paper and sticking to the systainer by some other method?

Thanks for this, they are very useful.

Regarding other card ideas, like probably several other people I have a systainer full of router accessories (CMS parts etc.).

My intention is to do one for every Festool in a Systainer as i do them i up load them here.  I also will be doing up some for Parts and Accessories as need then myself also.  Clamps , MFT parts,  Surfix, etc

As for how i print them what i choose to do was print them on 250gsm Photographic paper, this way i could get 4x6 pieces of paper and also achieve a good print quality.  (100 pieces was around $20) not a cheap way to go but i like the results.
After i printed 3 of each, i would laminate them all together, and then trim them to suit with a paper trimer so as to get a clean straight cut. After this i would put a piece of  very thin double sided tape on the back of them... and then just put them into the slots in  the systainer.
They have given me a very organised and clean result this way. They won't fall out and i realtivley protected from damage, plus i can remove them if needed.

Really nice labels Mike!

Would you add a label for the Compact Cleaning Kit and one for the SysLite to your list?

I'm going to be purchasing a second SysLite and plan to put them both in their own Systainer with the charging cables.

Thanks!

Great work Mike, i can see alot of people using them from the forum, including me  [big grin]

Thanks for the Comments guys.

@ P2P i have made the up the labels you have requested.

I have also added a few new ones to my original post.

Can you make one for the older model of track saw: festool TS55 EBQ-PLUS And the C15

Its so a great idea that you had that i bought some photo paper to make cards for all of my festool systainers  [tongue]

These are awesome!  Any chance you could work up a C12 and an LR32 label?  I used to have Adobe Illustrator but it was on an old computer that I don't have any more!

As per requests above:

I've updated the TS55EBQ to reflect the correct picture.... it was late and i was tired. ( well thats my excuse...lol )

Picture on the TS 55 label is the wrong one, it's of the latest TS 55 REBQ.
BTW in the US there only a REQ version.

Here is my version, left and right one, just like Festools does.
They match the ones on the original T-Loc systainers also.
