What's the proper way to start cutting something 2.5" + thick? If I place the saw and overhang it, the track flexes quite abit which can't be a good starting point. I tried a few test cuts by starting off plunging it into the wood and always at some point, the blade would just pull itself in like cutting through butter which is kind of unnerving. At first I thought I was applying alot of downward pressure so did a few cuts where I used both hands to slowly lower the blade and the same thing happened.
