ok daft question

how do you know when the battery is flat on a t15?

i was setting some screws earlier and had the tourqe on number 7 after setting 5 screws to the 6th one stopped half way thru and beeped so i assumed a flat battery so i swapped batts and was doing the same, it turned out that the screw was hitting a hard bit of material and the tourqe was getting shut off.

is it sposed to just die or beep or slow down etc i have a hitachi li-ion and that shuts off and you can press the trigger and nothing happens

Speed, you should edit the title of this thread, and put a ? at the end...  [smile] Still a few hours to go for the draw!

To answer your question, on the original models of T-series drills (before the recent updates with the battery gauge), you just have to wait for it to die. A beep means the clutch has engaged. To override the clutch, switch to drill mode using the switch on the top of the drill.

im not too bothered about entering the comp i never win anyway [sad]

the batterys seam to last that long i cant remember when i last charged it [tongue] will wait until it totally shuts down then with no beeping..

On My t-15 if I hold the trigger down and it beeps three times it means time for a charge and twice for the clutch setting.
