Hello from Finland,
I registered here a while ago just so I could see the pictures. I guess it's time to write something...
I started woodworking few years ago when I was watching Norm Abram (no surprise there). I managed to make a few furniture pieces with my fathers junk power tools, but I was always dreaming about Festool products which seemed to be light years ahead of other brands.
I told myself to buy only the best tools out there and never waste money on junk. Ironically, having very little money; I turned into a hand tool woodworker. I have bought Veritas hand planes, saws, SHAPTON stones, built a Roubo bench, made hand-cut dovetails etc.
After the very important hand tool experience I have once again started to gain interest on power tools to make my woodworking faster and better.
Yesterday I picked up my first Festool product; TS 55 with two guide rails.

Haven't had the change to test it yet, but it seems to be a very impressive tool.
Next I will be buying the CTL 22. After that, OF 1400. ;D
Now excuse me, I will take my systrainer to the garage.
