My Dewalt 625E started buzzing and a few small pieces seemed to be ejected. Not sure if this was plastic or some cherry wood shavings.
The noise seemed to come from the fan area as did the ejections.
Had the router inverted in a table removing a lot of material with a trend 50mm rotatip guided profiler. Which is very sharp.
Nothing heavy and no warming of the motor unit casing at all.
I'm pretty sure air is forced from the vents at the base.
But could wood chips or shavings have cause this?
Getting inside this router seems pretty difficult.
