DF500 or 700 for attaching face frames..

The old one went out of production some time ago, but it was recently announced that a new one is in the works.  I think [member=191]Rick Christopherson[/member] is working on manufacturing and pricing at the moment, as it still doesn't have a release date:http://www.dominoguide.com/

If I recall, someone else on the FOG made their own imperial version which had more stops at the upper end and is selling them for fairly cheap.  Maybe someone can drop the link here.

Seneca has the imperial gauge http://www.senecawoodworking.com/

I think they were referring to one that was better than the Seneca one with more stops and much cheaper.

Here it is:https://www.amazon.com/Imperial-Thickness-Gauge-Festool-Domino/dp/B01ASBQQ8K/

I haven't compared it exactly to see which additional stops, besides 1 1/2, it has over the Seneca one.

EDIT: the only extra is the 1 1/2" stop, which, like I said, you can sort of approximate on the Seneca one just by using the top of the gauge.  But this other version is only $20, which seems more reasonable based on the amount of plastic used.
