Domino 500 issue

I noticed on a current project that cutter slots that I made are lower on each consecutive plunge. I am not sure if there is a consistent numerical value it lowers each time but in the example in the photo there is about a 2 mm lowering from plunge number 1 on the far left to the last plunge number 8. I think the issue is related to the locking lever but I was able to duplicate the issue even after making sure the lever was tightened down securely. I have had the domino since 2011 and use it lightly perhaps 4-5 home projects per year. Any thoughts on how to remedy the issue would be appreciated.

The fence is not tight enough. The locking lever can be removed from the shaft & rotated one notch to allow it to tighten more.

Is it indeed lower, or is the wood thickness different from slot#1 to slot #8? It looks to me the wood is 2mm thicker on the left and the slots are the same distance from the top of the wood to the top of the slot.
Totally unscientific test as I am holding a ruler against my monitor.

Good observation as it is well known our eyes are not always reliable:http://brainden.com/line-illusions.htm

However, if the problem is really as reported, not our eyes or any photographic distortion, I suggest checking the lever lock. It may be turned tight, but it may not really be locking the fence. You can unscrew it and readjust it for a tight grip.

I think JD2720 may very well be correct. I was able to unscrew the locking lever and rotate it and then tighten the screw and it seems to make a difference in tightening the locking lever. I am heading out to do another test now.
