Domino light

One headlamp services all the tools, and the light moves with my vision.

If you need light, where you are looking and you are moving, take a headlamp.
A light on a tool always draws shadows etc. With the headlamp, you just have to move your head a couple of centimeters...

...but I also added the sys light and magnetic base to my shopping list.  [thumbs up]

I know this is a 4 year old thread but the wish list idea is still a GREAT one.

So many tools come with little lights that come on with the trigger that it seems Festool could do this in their sleep on the DOMINO. Would be an excellent upgrade. I don't want to wear a headlamp, nor do I want to carry an LED with me. WHY settle for side lights when the Domino could be made that much better with such a little add on?

I don't even wear an apron, why do I want to burden myself with a headlamp? Not to mention that it's a  maintenance item (batteries).

Ditto. Almost every other cordless tool manufacturer has a light on their tools. Might not be as effective as it could be but at least they made an effort to get some light in the work area.

Manufacturers are always looking for an excuse to bump the price for minimal engineering effort, sounds like the perfect opportunity to do just that. A LED light upgrade is worth at least $50 don't ya think. :-)

Or if you're a Micro Fence guy...$189.90.  [smile]
