Domino question: putting the glue at the side of the mortice: tips/tricks?

Couple of comments.  Firstly, Popular Woodworking magazine did a study a couple of years back trying to determine most effective
gluing strategies.  Main findings were that it doesn't take much glue to make a strong bond and that it really does help to glue both surfaces.

I use a trimmed acid brush like the poster above.  By the way, they are washable and will last pretty much forever if you wash off the glue before
it is totally dry.  I get a few years use out of each brush.  Crazy frugal for a guy who buys Festools, huh?
