I used the eccentric chuck for the first time today.
It works great.
I was surprised to find that the Centrotec bits would not lock in it, although standard 1/4" hex shank bits would lock in it.
Am I doing something wrong?

No, Chris, you're not.

The Eccentric chuck is designed to take standard, 1/4" hex bits.

The Right-angle chuck has a Centrotec end though, so you can add any Centrotec chuck to it at right angles to the drills.

The "collar" can be pulled back when inserting wire-detent bits. Once it's released, the bit is locked in place. To remove, retract the collar.

Sorry, I just read your post again, Chris. Seems I misread it. You're correct about Centrotec bits in the eccentric chuck.

I guess I should clarify what I said about the Right Angle chuck...

The Centrotec chuck can be mounted to it so that Centrotec bits can be used with it at right angles to the drill. The Keyless, Jacobs style chuck can also be mounted to it to use regular drill bits.
