Dust Deputy vs Ultimate Dust Deputy?

I have used an UDD for many years on a CT22 (about 15 yrs old) but recently bought a new CT26. The UDD does not attach to the top like it does with all the other CTs. I have communicated with Oneida about it and they claim their UDD case mold has had no changes and that they have not gotten any complaints similar to mine so no help on the fitment. Any ideas? Pics od CT22 and front view of CT26 showing won't lock down.

Have you tried rotating it 180 degrees?

For those considering the Ultimate Dust Deputy versus the Festool cyclone, I came across this video the other day. I have no idea if the test methodology is sound - but taking the view that the test method was apples to apples - the results are significantly in favor of the DD if not constantly transporting with Systainers. Personally, and not having used the DD, I am happy with the Festool and the overall performance, integration and portability (being able to stack on top of the Festool cyclone continues to be a top priority for my workflow)

No I haven't tried rotating 180. I will take a closer look today. That would put the small vacuum line for the dust bag on the wrong side as well. Could replace with longer tube though.

Thanks
Jack
