Brice asked me to post a closer look at the walnut door with the walnut burl panels, so here it is.  You should be able to enlarge it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager or similar program if you wish.  The lower panel is bookmatched and a mirror image of the top panel though you can't see it well in the picture.

edit:
Actually you should be able to brighten the photo with Picture Manager.

still looks great, I would like to attempt that someday, but i would like to make my own door jam too. Any tips on door jams, did you make one, or find a good quality one to buy?

I made the jamb.  I always make them, and the entrance frames (the decorative outside).  I do them in mahogany and/or sapele.  The sills are milled from 8/4 white oak.  There's nothing especially tricky about making a jamb.  The door requires much more skill.

If you have any information on making a jam, I would take it. I know my current one has a seal on it, and a metal bottom (where you would step, I'm unsure of the name), and I know little about it. As I stated in your last post, I do have the Norm Abram's dvd on his front door, and you know if I watch it a million times, I might be able to sorta make a door. :D  Seriously though, I have an interest in it, and yours looks awesome.
