ETS vs ETSEC?

Are these two machines in the same class and intended for woodworkers, or is the latter more for automotive paint finishing?

I think previous discussion has pointed towards the ETS-EC being designed for automotive but that doesn't mean it isn't suitable for wood work.
 
Elfick is right. Very few people have this sander yet because it is so new, so little is known as of now. But it is clear it was made with the automotive sector in mind. But it can be used with any material you want, sanding is sanding after all. All it needs to do is move sandpaper over a surface, and the sander itself is not picky about that surface being metal or wood. Or whatever.

I grew up in a bodyshop, so we had all these special angle sanders for working with cars. I also always painted the house, so I always asked my dad to bring the sanders from work with him. Worked like a charm.
