Festool 584174 CT SYS Dust Extractor

Would you recommend this system in conjunction with a kapex saw.  We were considering mounting under the saw in our shop for dust collection rather than having the hose run to our CT 26.

I don't think this would be recommended at all.

The CT sys has very small bag capacity and is light on CFM and water lift.

So, you'll be emptying it a lot on a mitersaw,  it won't really support a 36 or 50mm diameter hose, and it won't really create enough airflow to do a good job removing the waste created by the Kapex.

I'm pretty sure that it's also not rated to have a tool in excess of 12A running through it.  EDIT: I'm trying to locate a source for this info -- my manual is onsite right now with the tool, so I can't check it.
