Just been on festools website and they are showing new tools coming in september . They all seem to be protocol in festool colours . Don't know how to post a link but looks good  ,  110v  would be nice .

Here is a link showing some images:  http://www.festool.co.uk/About-us/Pages/Festool-Image-2013.aspx

Please note:  Festool.com is using geolocation to direct users to the most appropriate website.  So users in another country might not be able to see another site by going to Festool.com and then selecting the country like we used to be able to.

In order to visit another country's site you may need to go directly to the site.  For instance, the web address for Festool UK is http://Festool.co.uk/

At the current time if readers in NA want to print custom systainer labels you will need to go this route.

Yeah that's a point wasn't protool only available in 240v ?

I think it's a balancer. And probably is attached to the large ASA Boom arms.
You can attach your dust hose or machine to it and it's then connected to a steel wire which is spring-loaded.
When reaching out with the hose it's automatically retracted to the start point and is always under tension.
I have got one myself (no Festool) and the tension can be adjusted.
So no more hoses lying on the ground. And it always comes from above.

my god that was an annoying clip, couldnt take it after 30 secs and closed it off.

Yes, sure is. I hate those clips with 1 second focus, the result is, you can never focus on anything. Hello ADHD.

I hope that quadrill makes its way to the U.S. soon enough!!! [big grin]

It's the only reasoning putting off the T18 [sad]

Yes I noticed this the other day. .

I have been recently thinking about pulling the trigger on the pro tool Quadrill Drill. May just hold of a month and see what Festool news/timeframe is.

I have no problem with getting the protool version but if it's gonna be available in Festool colours then I'm happy to wait a month and have it match the rest of my gear.

My thought is though that Festool may not release the Percussion/Hammer version of the Drill (Protool have one with and one without) - I would want that ability on a drill like this. And as yet I don't think Festool do any products with the Hammer/Percussion function. . . . Perhaps Festool Feel that this is "not their bag"??

The latest PDC is a worthy addition regardless of green or orange buttons - don't hold back [smile]

The tables were made by festool just for the road show. It toured the UK too so I got to see those tables close up. We didn't get shown the new tools though.

They're not just made for the roadshow, but custom made by Festool to support their dealer network. All bigger dealers over here have one in their store for their demonstation corner. It's an MFT with a frame made out of some 80/20 type profile, placed on casters, with sysport slides inside. Not long ago, a local dealer here sold some of these tables, used, to the public for €2500 a piece.

Nice little earner!!

That's about $3600 Australian. An MFT in Australia is $1174. Is this one three times the size or better?! Picture does not suggest they are!

I sincerely doubt he made a lot money on them, if any. Festool won't sell them cheap to their dealers. They're bigger than normal MFT's. The picture No 5 above includes 2 sysports 500/2 and has a custom top. The alu profiles cost quite some money and the casters too. And it's a custom job, so you have to add labour also.
