I have been recently thinking about pulling the trigger on the pro tool Quadrill Drill. May just hold of a month and see what Festool news/timeframe is.
I have no problem with getting the protool version but if it's gonna be available in Festool colours then I'm happy to wait a month and have it match the rest of my gear.
My thought is though that Festool may not release the Percussion/Hammer version of the Drill (Protool have one with and one without) - I would want that ability on a drill like this. And as yet I don't think Festool do any products with the Hammer/Percussion function. . . . Perhaps Festool Feel that this is "not their bag"??

They're not just made for the roadshow, but custom made by Festool to support their dealer network. All bigger dealers over here have one in their store for their demonstation corner. It's an MFT with a frame made out of some 80/20 type profile, placed on casters, with sysport slides inside. Not long ago, a local dealer here sold some of these tables, used, to the public for €2500 a piece.

Nice little earner!!
That's about $3600 Australian. An MFT in Australia is $1174. Is this one three times the size or better?! Picture does not suggest they are!
