Festool CMS questions

Hi
Cant find info on the net for some reason but what is the width of the cms mft3 extension table?

Thanks, But it should have a depth of 773mm same as the mft, looks to be the same in all the pics i have seen?
for example:

same height and depth but what width does it stick out?

I can't believe they charge $350 for some extra legs!  I'm still on the fence of what to do....$1600 is a lot of money to spend on what essentially is an accessory to a tool!

My mistake.  Thought you were talking about the Outfeed Extension Tables.

I thought the same thing but then saw the pic he posted.

I will say that I love my VL setup. The price isn't for the faint of heart but it does all I need and then some.

Mine is decked out with an Incra fence on top of a Precision Dogs Plate and is super versatile and extremely repeatable. I know others will build their own or pick up a Woodpecker or Kreg kit but I am pleased with every cent I spent on my setup. I even built specific wall mounts for accessories and added flexibility.

Cheers. Bryan.

Frankly, it was a toss-up when I compared the relative costs of on one hand, the CMS-GE with two extension tables and the router to go in it, et al, against the cost of a dedicated made or bought table with a cast iron top, Woodpeckers lift, PC 7518 motor and Incra fence.  The tipping point for me was the fact that the CMS-GE is more easily portable, should I need to take it on-site.  No regrets about the CMS-GE for my purposes.  BTW, Bryan, I like your module storage cabinet.

For ease of use, more and more videos I watch, I think the Festool CMS GE is the way to go for me.  Will have to save some chips...maybe Santa Claus will bring me one for xmas this year

Hello,
I have question. Can  i cit with CMS TS55 cut perfect 90° angle?

Cut this angle with TS55 and guide rail  is impossible.

Depends on the operator and set up of the CMS.

Not  impossible, very easy to do.

I measured  angles  on TS55, plunge depth 0mm - 90°, full depth  55mm - 89.2°

So impossible.

Very possible, I do it every day and I own 4 different TS saws. All cut 90º.

There are adjustments on the saw for that.

What surface did you use to calibrate/reference the gauge off of? The slightest movement of the saw once the gauge is referenced can change the reading.

How can one reading be 89.2º and one be 90º? Did you tilt the saw to get it to change?

Tom

Reference  point.
0° reference point
90° 0mm, plunge
89.2° full plunge depth.

Flat tablet. I chcecked  this hundred  times.
