Hi there.
I got hold of a polycrystalline diamond blade to cut a heap of cement sheet and I was stunned by how easy and quickly the cuts went not to mention lack of dust. My previous way was to use an angle grinder or circular saw with a masonry blade which wore out fairly regularly. Watch the video if you want to, I tell you the name of the blade, show you the packaging and also the blade in use in my TS55 on a real job that I was doing. Also, the dust deputy cyclone is brilliant! Hardly any dust went through to the dust extractor.
One of the things about this blade in comparison to other diamond blades is that it collects the waste in a similar manner to the blades for timber. Correct me if I am wrong, but it is my understanding that most diamond blades have the diamond on the side of the blade and act as a grinder which throws the waste off to the side, not as much in a forward direction as this blade does.
