Hi,
I recently acquired a Domino Joiner. Hearing how good the Festool dust extraction was, I ordered a vac to extract from it. I'd read all over the place that the system was, well, a system and worked seemlessly together. That's why I bought a F vac for my F tool!
Imagine my surprise when I came to connect the vac hose (⌀22mm) to the Domino and found that the rubber connector is too narrow to slip onto the port!
Question 1 - What's going on? This is a big surprise to me and is not at all how I'd understood things worked in the world of Festool.
Question 2 - How do I fix it? Do I need to remove material from the tapered rubber connector attached to the hose? Purchase a step adaptor? Purchase a new end fitting for the hose?
Thanks!
