I purchased a MIDI from the recent Festool Recon. Upon arrival, I noticed a hole in the outer cardboard box. I was hoping and praying it didn't extend into the inner box.

Unfortunately that wasn't the case. [sad]

Once I unpacked the vac, there was more damage than I expected. I also noted that it had been used previously which was fine with me as I knew what I was purchasing. The overall condition was like almost new...the 95% level.

I emailed Festool service stating that the item was damaged and within 20 minutes I received a reply offering to replace the unit or refund my purchase price, the choice was mine. Along with that was a prepaid ticket to return the vac through UPS.
Well Friday I received the replacement MIDI...it is a completely NEW unit that has never seen service. Better customer service than that would be an impossibility. Thank you Festool. [not worthy]
